Yay Me!

First, I feel so loved at being an honorary member. Second, guess I need a secret code name, I used my own. Third, since we are here to blog about being fit, I just came back from WW. I lost 3.4 lbs in week one! Obviously week 1 is always a big loss. Now, don't let me fool you because I ate and drank all weekend. My tricks are eating vats of the veggie soup and I only drank on Friday and Saturday. Even I find that hard to believe. It is probably not sustainable.

I am off to Ft Lauderdale tomorrow for four days. I packed my Kashi bars and my gym clothes. Two things that I have never packed to take on vacation before.

  1. That is AWESOME!! I may have to try your veggie soup idea...my salads every day are getting old. Have a great time on vacation, and enjoy getting fit on the beach!

  2. Figured out how to change my name.

    Also, it started as the WW soup recipe with a bunch of changes. I quadrupled the size, used fresh cabbage, but everything else was frozen to keep it easy. When I get back next week I will write it up. I have been eating a quart a day. I am sure I will be sick of it by week two and will switch back to giant salads.

  3. Welcome and congrats on your weight loss. I haven't lost any weight, but have decreased my drinking, although I am imbibing as we speak! I did just run 2 miles and did strength for lower body. Have fun in FLA!
