I am seriously considering eating ice cream for dinner tonight. I know it's partly a reaction to my feeling crappy about my life, but I'm at the point where it just doesn't seem to matter. I don't know how to stop the backward slide....
I think ice cream is ok, but if I were you, I'd take a walk first and even see if you can trick yourself into waiting until the weekend. I've been dreaming about chocolate cake since someone brought one in 4 weeks ago, and I keep telling myself I can have some on the weekend - then I forget! But if you do succumb, it's OK, just try and make up for it the next day.
Everyone has bad days (or bad periods in general); it's important to keep focused on the fact that they don't last forever, and to do things that make you feel like you've accomplished something you do have control over: like doing a little excercising or cleaning around the house.
